This extensive and dynamic course covers the full range of project management skills, both internal (those in direct control) external (response to outside factors), hard skills such as planning and soft skills which are the human factors so vital to effective project management. It is highly practical with around 50% of the course time being spent with 'hands on' activity. That makes it very enjoyable, which in turn helps with rapid learning.
A huge amount of hands on learning on the Successful PM course.
Project Managers, project support staff and others involved with the detail of planning. The idea number for this course is 12 people but will work well with numbers up to 16. The course can deal with up to 4 projects being planned split between those attending. It can also be run with groups as small as 4.
The course runs for 4 days and is delivered 'in-company' so your staff can discuss how they will apply the approach in your organisational environment. It can be run residentially which is particularly beneficial if we use your own projects as case study examples since then that allows more practical work in evening sessions.
The content can be adjusted where necessary to add in additional material or take out information that those attending are already very familiar with.

a toolkit of powerful project techniques Project techniques covered on the course are like a toolkit. Projects can be very different and not every technique should be used on every project. We give practical and clear advice on how to use a range of valuable and proven project management techniques including:
using your projects as case studies On this courses we can work with your own project(s) as case study examples where this is helpful. That means delegates leave the course with outline plans for the projects as well as seeing the techniques 'grounded' in their own real projects. the fit with the PRINCE2 project method This course has a wider scope than the PRINCE2™ project management method, but it has been carefully engineered not to conflict with the PRINCE where the subject matter does overlap. That means you are not going to have to 'unlearn' and 'relearn' if you are already using PRINCE2 or are planning to adopt it at some point in the future.
