Inspirandum is small and highly professional.  We work with a small core staff, and then  associates carefully chosen because of their practical experience, professional knowledge and well developed communications skills.  On the training side of our business, we turn away most who want to work with us, even where these are experienced accredited trainers.  This is usually because although they have training experience, they have insufficient practical experience to show our customers how to use approaches and techniques in the real world.  We are growing, but slowly because of our insistence on the very highest standards.  We would prefer to stay small and deliver very high quality than grow large, as some others have done. with mass training but where those attending end up not properly understanding the subject matter.

Our customer base is broad both in terms of size and industry.  We work with huge multi-national companies with turnovers of many billions of dollars down to individuals who pay their own way to attend one of our training events.  All are very important indeed to us.  Whether a customer company is very small or huge, they get the very best we can deliver - every time. 

In the years since we have been operating, we have received a huge number of encouraging and positive comments from our customers, most of whom go on to recommend us to others.  We are working increasingly in other countries as our reputation spreads world wide. about Nick Graham - founder of Inspirandum

Inspirandum was founded by Nick Graham who has two UK teaching qualifications (having specialised in curriculum studies and the psychology of education) as well as project, systems and risk management qualifications.  We understand how adults learn, and while our courses are invariably demanding, they are also fun and dynamic.  This is backed up by solid, proven practical advice based on long experience.

the price

We may not be the cheapest, but we believe that we are exceptionally good value for money.  With training courses, we are very aware that the most expensive part of attending the course is usually time out of the office.  A saving of a few pounds on a cheaper course can work out to be a poor saving indeed if much more is lost because people don't fully understand the subject and then waste time on projects - or worse.

As someone has said about training  
"If you think that is expensive, try some ignorance and incompetence!"

With consultancy, you need someone with experience and understanding, and that doesn't come cheap.  For both training and consultancy, Inspirandum only use staff and associates with a number of years experience.  We do not use people who have only just come out of the training room themselves.

7 years on ...  and counting

Inspirandum was founded 7 years ago to give a professional consultancy and training service that is practically based.  We believe very strongly that when someone has been trained, they should then be able to apply what they have learned to good effect.

Our consultancy is not about building a dependency and selling in more time.  Rather it is to transfer of practical knowledge and skills, and assistance to do a particular job.  Our assignments are typically quite short at between 1 and 3 days.  They can be regular though, if you need help checking out a project at the end of each stage for example.

why be based in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK?

We work all over the UK and worldwide so in one sense it doesn't much matter where we are located.  As to why we chose Dorset for a base, perhaps the view from our office windows will answer that question better than words.  Can you walk down to a lighthouse and sit on the rocks by the sea during your lunch break?  J
